Kang Legal & Medical Management Inc specializes in record retrieval and record management services with a highlight on the medical audit sector since 2018. We aim to help our customers reduce cost and risk associated with record management and retrieval; allowing companies and staff to focus time and energy where it is needed most. Some of our basic services include pursuing records for litigation, record retrieval for audit services (risk adjustment and HEDIS i.e.), and record management services. We are fully HIPAA compliant and insured!

How did you get your start?
Austin Kang started this business in 2018 after working corporately in the industry for multiple years. He consistently saw a disparity in care, compassion, and accountability in the services provided by the large corporations that generally request records. He consistently saw stress and over burdened office staff members taking their time away from patients to fulfill excessive record requests. Austin saw that these mega-corporation types simply did not care about the work they were doing; did not care about the impact sending hundreds, even thousands of record requests to offices impacted the care of the patients. They simply considered their customers as “money in the pocket” instead of caring about the quality of work they were doing. Constant mistakes, constant breaches of trust between customers and corporations showed him that something had to change. With background in IT (information technology), medical insurance, and delivery (USPS), KLM has all the knowledge needed to surge in this industry properly and competently. In 2018, Kang Legal & Medical Management Inc was formed with an emphasis on compassionate, high quality, and affordable record management and retrieval services.
